Khloe Kardashian All Set To File For Divorce From Lamar Odom [Rumor]
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly very close to filing for divorce from husband Lamar Odom. In fact, certain anonymous sources believe that she could put everything into motion as early as today (December 13).
According to the folks over at TMZ, it’s believed that Khloe is officially done with her marriage to Odom. Not only was she recently spotted without her wedding ring, insiders believe Kardashian could file for divorce very soon. However, neither Khloe nor Lamar have officially confirmed the rumor as of this writing.
“I am strong because I’ve been weak. I am fearless because I’ve been afraid. I am wise because I’ve been foolish,” Kardashian posted on Instagram Thursday (December 12).
It’s believed that the divorce should go down without any major problems. Since the couple signed prenups and don’t have any kids, the anonymous source feels that the legal hiccups should stay to a bare minimum. The couple tied the knot back in 2009.
Us Weekly reports that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s marital problems began when the troubled basketball player refused to seek treatment for his drug habit. Although it seemed as though the couple were on the road to recovery earlier this year, things didn’t stay happy for very long.
While rumors suggested that Lamar Odom cheated on Khloe Kardashian during their relationship, nothing about the rumored infidelity was reportedly confirmed. However, all of that seemed to change when Lamar Odom released a freestyle rap video that makes reference to staying on the “DL” while Khloe is out of town.
Sources told TMZ that Khloe was understandably upset when she learned about the video her husband had released. Shortly after the clip made the rounds online, people started spotting Kardashian without her wedding ring. Insiders say the rap video was essentially the final straw in their crumbling marriage.
Khloe also seemed to address her failing relationship in a note posted to Instagram earlier this month. The reality star explained:
