Heidi Montag will star in a one-episode special alongside her husband Spencer Pratt, due to hit the screen on Monday, December 9.
The show, called After Shock: Heidi & Spencer, will run for just one hour, and according to the cable network’s description, will show the rise to fame of the couple on MTV’s The Hills show.
Pratt spoke to E! Online about the fall of the second The Hills show saying: “The second [‘The Hills’] ended, in 2010, the jig’s up. Now you’re irrelevant. Your 15 minutes are up.”
The program will discuss Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s lives, both private and public, and will show – as well as Pratt’s hot-headedness with family, friends, and the media – the story behind Montag’s plastic surgeries.
The show will be based around pretty intense interviews conducted with Heidi Montag and hubby, looking into their somewhat checkered pasts and media exploits, as well as the trials and tribulations that fame brings .
The couple, fondly known as “Speidi” by the fans who follow them, went from being stars of The Hills to living a quiet, but extravagant lifestyle. It was reported more than once that couple had enjoyed $10,000 per day shopping sprees, not to mention plastic surgery which amounted to tens of thousands of dollars.
So, will Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt be returning to the limelight and the eager cameras of the media, or will they opt for a quiet life away from the public glare in Santa Barbara?
It is hoped that all will be revealed when After Shock: Heidi & Spencer airs on December 9 at 10 p.m. on E!
