Google Books App For iOS Gets Upgraded, iPad Landscape Mode Supported

Google Books for iOS devices received an update today and with the new version comes the ability to view books in iPad landscape viewing mode.

The optimized iPad output allows users to view two pages at a time, while providing a better search function that reveals all matches as the user scrolls down the page.

Also included with the update is the ability to use your Google Books username to sign into Google eBookstore by tapping “Get eBooks” from inside the application.

The program also adds a 3D page turning effect on the iPad iOS 4.3 version and minor bug fixes have also been addressed which has helped the application run faster.

You can get the new version of the application in the Apple App Store immediately.
