Jon Cryer Going Bald, Fake Hair Is Painted On

Jon Cryer has admitted to Conan O’Brien that he is going bald. Cryer confirmed that his bouffant is basically “gone now,” after the pair decided to reminisce about the hair he possessed in 1986’s Pretty in Pink. The actor delightfully labelled it a “spectacular mane of unruly wonderfulness.”

The Two and a Half Men star then turned attention to the current state of his hair, helpfully pointing to the top of his head while addressing the issue, before explaining, “This is an elaborate illusion.”

He added, “This is the work of several talented professionals making the most of like four hairs. It’s amazing, actually, what they can do. I’m not wearing a piece, or anything like that, but it’s a long involved process that starts with stuff like shoe polish, basically, that they coat the top.”

Cryer then demonstrated a paint brush going over his head, before noting, “They basically just paint, they get a roller type thing, and just whoosh along the top.”

He then went on to compare his look to an infamous Hollywood star, stating, “You have to decide if you’re going to go full [John] Travolta and get the full front in. And then they literally sprinkle powder in from a salt shaker. So this is, like I said, four or five hairs.”

Conan then quizzed what happens to his painted hair when Cryer is caught in the rain, to which he commented, “You’re out of luck. It flattens out and you can get the nice little rivulets going down. But thankfully, your eyebrows will channel down the side.”

Meanwhile, Cryer is currently taking part in a divorce battle with his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger. She has demanded $88,000 per month because their 13-year-old son, Charlie, is allegedly being bullied as he can’t afford the same lavish lifestyle that they’re used to.

Since 2010, Cryer has only been paying Trigger $8,000 per month, and this means that Charlie can’t afford to go to glamorous summer camps with his pals. He also doesn’t go on “exotic vacations in the summer and winter” to Europe and Thailand.

Cryer, who reportedly earns around $2 million a month, also heard that Charlie is bullied by other students at The Buckley School because they constantly have “huge birthday parties at expensive places like Sky High Sports. and they invite the entire grade.” Charlie is unable to keep up with his classmate’s without additional funds.
