Justin Bieber Buys New Home For His Family For $850,000

A Justin Bieber headline that doesn’t make Beliebers want to hurl objects at their computer arrives with news the singer has shelled out serious money for a new home for his father and step-brother and sister.

The 19-year-old reportedly paid out $850,000 for a “5-bedroom cabin-style pad” in his home state of Ontario where his dad, Jeremy, and siblings, Jaxon, 3, and Jazmyn, 5, currently live, according to TMZ.

The website reports Justin laid out hard cash for the buy.

Location-wise, exact details aren’t forthcoming, but photos of the property reveal a rural surround with several acres boasting woods. The log-cabin style home is located in a “small town of roughly 8,000 people.”

TMZ quotes a source who stresses Jeremy didn’t ask for the new house, adding, “Justin wants to make sure his half-brother and half-sister are living in a really nice home.”

The source continued, “This isn’t a case of the family sponging off of Justin – it’s Justin who made the offer to the family.”

Despite a widespread belief that Justin was brought up solely by his mother Pattie Mallette, in fact, Jeremy remained a strong presence in his son’s life after he and Pattie separated within a year of her giving birth at 18-years-old.

The “Heartbreaker” star previously told Seventeen Magazine: “I have a great relationship with my dad,” adding, “When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan.'”

With a personal fortune estimated at north of $130 million, Bieber also owns a mansion in Calabasas, Calif,. which he reportedly purchased for circa $6 million. In addition, the Global Post previously reported the teen singer bought a house in Cartagena, Columbia, valued at approximately $2 million, after he took a shine to the area’s recreational attractions.

Meanwhile, the heartthrob is steaming through dates on the Latin America leg of his Believe world tour and performed in Quito, Ecuador last night (Oct. 31).

Taking to Twitter post-concert, Justin enthused, “[G]reat show. rain couldnt stop us. BRAZIL is next! #BelieveTour.”

From there, the tour moves on to Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Mexico, before hitting the final Australasia leg. The 15-month trek wraps in Perth on December 8.

On a final note regarding Bieber’s purchase of a new home for his father’s family, it’s worth noting British tabloid The Daily Star previously reported Jeremy considered his eldest child to be a “bad influence” on his siblings.

This claim was substantially negated by Justin’s subsequent supervision of his brother at the Las Vegas boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Saul Alvarez and visits from both youngsters to see the singer while on tour.
