Mitt Romney Takes In Ole Miss Game, Spotted Tailgating At The Grove

Mitt Romney caught one heck of a college football game this past weekend.

The former Republican presidential nominee decided to take up his former personal aide on an offer to check out an Ole Miss football game, and Romney caught one for the ages.

Romney was spotted tailgating before the game, and as several tweeted pictures can attest it seems he was having a great time. Romney came to the game with Garrett Jackson, a 2009 Ole Miss graduate who worked for Romney during the presidential campaign last year.

The two took in the pre-game festivities at Mississippi’s famous gathering spot The Grove, and later on saw one of the best college football games of the weekend.

Though Ole Miss was only 1-2 in the SEC going into the game and was facing the No. 9 Texas A&M Aggies, the Rebels hung tough. The dug out of a 21-10 hole and kept pace with Johnny Manziel and the Aggies for most of the game, but a late field goal gave A&M the win.

Ole Miss fans may not find many moral victories in the 41-38 loss, at least Mitt Romney had a great time at the game.

Mitt hasn’t just been relaxing and catching college football games since losing the 2012 election. He’s been active on the fundraising circuit, and has been supportive of the upcoming group of Republican hopefuls.

Things are getting busier for the Romney family as well. Mitt Romney just became a grandfather again (for the 22nd time) when his son Ben Romney and wife Andelynne adopted a baby named Kieran.
