Penis Biting Rugby Player Denies Accusation, Says He Was Wearing Mouthguard

Australian rugby league player Anthony Watts is one of the “bad boys” of his sport, but, when it comes to biting penises, he adamantly denies any involvement.

The 27-year-old player was recently suspended by the Gold Coast Rugby League after a player claimed that Watts bit him on the penis.

In 2011, Anthony Watts was dropped by the National Rugby League outfit Sydney Roosters for disciplinary reasons. In 2012, he was released by English Super League side Widnes Vikings after getting involved in a brawl.

In discussing the penis biting incident, Watts told Sydney’s Daily Telegraph:“I was wearing a mouth guard and there’s no way I bit him on the d*ck.”

Watts continues: “The claim is laughable, but I’ve still had to live with it. I know I didn’t do it and the people close to me know I didn’t do it, either.”

Watts is convinced that the penis biting allegation will overshadow his career, and he is appealing the decision. Watts adds:

“It’s something I’m probably going to be known for, even though they’ve got no evidence to back any of it up. There’s been numerous times in other games that players have made false claims against me… I find that I get targeted all the time. If something happens to me, there’s no penalty. If I do the same thing, there’s a penalty.”

Watts way playing in a minor league game when the incident occurred. The player who was bit on the penis pulled down his shorts to show officials the teeth marks on his penis.

Watts, in the meantime, has been charged with contrary conduct. Watts is banned for eight matches.

In the meantime, wearing a cup while playing against the penis biting rugby player might not be a bad course of action. Just in case.

Officials have not officially determined that the mark on the opposing players penis was caused by human teeth.
