Chinese Porn Broadcast Of 'Sex And Chopsticks' On Giant Screen Gets Worker Arrested

A Chinese porn broadcast of The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks on a giant screen got one railway worker arrested.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the idea of “sex and chopsticks” might raise an eyebrow (unless you’re really into 50 Shades of Grey), but the rising popularity of animal brothels will probably illicit a gag.

The Chinese porn broadcast is not so nasty but apparently it’s still enough to get you arrested in China. The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks is a banned porn film in China based on a classic Chinese erotic novel, The Plum in the Golden Vase. The novel depicts women’s domestic struggles but was identified as pornographic and officially banned for centuries. Sex And Chopsticks follows the same basic plot but is more explicit in nature.

The story of how a Chinese porn broadcast ended up on a giant screen mounted on a building is probably just as interesting. A man named Yuan was working at a nearby Chinese railway station but did not realize his laptop was hooked to the giant LED screen he was trying to fix.

So when Yuan started playing the banned Chinese porn broadcast, hundreds of local residents stopped to watch as well. This went on for about 10 minutes before the company which owned the giant screen called Yuan to complain. Yuan responded by disconnecting the computer and tried to hide the evidence by throwing the porn video disc out the window.

Police were called to investigate, and it seems likely Yuan will face two years of prison for the illegal Chinese porn broadcast, or spreading “pornographic audiovisual products.”

Do you think China’s laws regarding the Chinese porn broadcast are fair?
