SanDisk G3 SSD Goes On Sale, Offers Speeds 2x Faster Than 7,200rpm HDD’s

Looking for a super speedy solid state disk? Then look no further than the newest release from Sandisk, the G3 SSD. The drive offers speed up to 2 times faster than standard 7,200rpm hard-drives, plus other features and guarantees users will love.

The G3 comes in both 60GB and 120GB capacities and offers read speeds up to 220 MB/sec and write speeds up to 120MB/sec.

Samsung is also estimating that 80TB of data can be written on the 120GB drive before any issues are experienced thanks to the companies ExtremeFFS system which optimizes drive performance by randomizing flash memory use. Samsung is so confident in the drive they’re even including a 10 year warranty.

The cost is actually quite respectable with the smaller drive selling for $229.99 and the 120GB offering sitting at $399.99.
