Desmond Bryant was arrested this morning for criminal mischief in Florida. But don’t worry, it’s not the Desmond Bryant you’re thinking of. Well, unless you’re a big fan of the Oakland Raiders defensive line.
The Raiders lineman, not the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, was booked into a Miami-Dade County, FLorida prison at about 9 am this morning for criminal mischief. The Raiders said that they were aware of the situation but did not elaborate on Bryant’s arrest.
NFL.com notes that the Raiders lineman will be entering free agency for the first time on March 12. Bryant, who has been playing in Oakland since 2009, will be one of the more talented defensive lineman available as an unrestricted free agents in March but his recent arrest could complicate his NFL future.
As for Dez Bryant, the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver has been working out, and not getting arrested, during the off-season.
Dez wrote on Twitter: “Ooo shit false rumors about jail? Lol I was working out at 2 something in the morning in Dallas tx.”
