Congratulations are in order for Sean Parker his longtime fiancee Alexandra Lenas.
According to US Weekly magazine, Parker, the Napster co-founder and founding president of Facebook, welcomed his first child into the world with Lenas on Sunday, January 6.
People reports the happy couple named their new daughter Winter Victoria Parker.
As we reported previously, Parker — who now serves on the board of directors at music service Spotify — and Lenas were engaged in April, 2011 after dating for less than a year, and only recently announced their baby is due in January.
The pair reportedly plan to marry sometime later this year.
Parker, 33, is best remembered for founding the peer-to-peer music file-sharing service Napster in 1999 with his friend Shawn Fanning. At the time of Napster’s launch, Parker was just 19 years old.
After Napster’s success, Parker went on to launch Plaxo, an online address book and social networking service that integrated with Microsoft Outlook, would later influence the growth of companies like LinkedIn, Zynga and Facebook. At the time (2002), Plaxo was one of the first products to build virality into its launch, and that earned it 20 million users.
Just two years after starting Plaxo, Sean joined forces with Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and became the first president of the social-networking site.
Though Parker was forced to resign from Facebook after a 2005 cocaine arrest, where no charges were filed, he still unofficially advises the company, according to Wikipedia.
In recent days, Parker reunited with Napster co-founder Shawn Fanning to found Airtime.com, a live video website with real-time sharing and communication, where users post videos and respond to them in real-time.
Sean’s also a managing partner at the Founders Fund, a San Francisco based venture capital fund founded by Peter Thiel.
