Brock Lesnar And Samoa Joe In Violent Brawl On ‘Monday Night Raw’ – Entire Roster Comes Out To Separate Them

After Samoa Joe attacked Paul Heyman last week on Monday Night Raw, everyone knew it would be ugly when Brock Lesnar took out his revenge, and they were right. Earlier in the day, WWE announced that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar would open tonight’s show by calling out Samoa Joe for a face-to-face confrontation. It happened and started out innocently enough, but it ended with the entire Raw roster and additional security heading to the ring to pull the two beasts apart.

Fans have been waiting for this week’s Raw for two months since Lesnar hasn’t been seen since winning the Universal Title from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. Not only was he back to bring the pain, but he had a particular target in mind and it was Samoa Joe.

As usual, Lesnar didn’t have much to say because he always allows his business advocate Paul Heyman to speak for him. Heyman gave a great promo before calling Samoa Joe down to the ring to come face-to-face with his client so they could officially meet before their match at Great Balls of Fire next month.

The official website of WWE recapped the action as Joe came down to the ring and simply stood in front of Brock Lesnar to size him up.

As the two men stared daggers through one another, the crowd became extremely antsy. Fans began wondering if there would be any kind of action between Lesnar and Joe or if one would simply walk away from the ring.

That was when it happened.

Even though it was Brock Lesnar looking for revenge, it was Samoa Joe who got the first shot in with a vicious headbutt that sent the Universal Champion back into the ropes. After about a minute of vicious brawling, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle sent security down to the ring.

Security was able to do absolutely nothing against the two monsters, and that led Kurt Angle to call out the entire Raw locker room to break up the fight.

Angle kept calling for more and more superstars to head out to the ring and restrain the two men from destroying one another. It worked for about a minute, but there was simply too much strength and too much power to keep them apart for very long.

The superstars of Raw did a pretty good job at holding back Lesnar and even had just his arms pulled back at one point, but that cost him. Samoa Joe was able to break free of those holding him back and land a vicious kick to the face of Lesnar which really seemed to connect with his face.

After that shot, the Raw locker room was able to get things under control and hold back both men while getting Samoa Joe up the ramp and toward the back. The camera focused on Lesnar’s face who had sheer hatred in his eyes and kept wiping his mouth in case it was bleeding from the vicious kick.

Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar will face off for the first time at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event on July 9, and it is going to be hard to wait that long. Many believe that it will be an absolutely brutal brawl and it looks like they are right.

Brock Lesnar is only a part-time superstar for WWE, but he sure brings in big audiences whenever he is back on television. As WWE Universal Champion, he has everyone chasing him right now and the next in line is Samoa Joe. When he attacked Paul Heyman last week, everyone knew that the “Beast Incarnate” was going to come back for revenge. If tonight’s brawl on Monday Night Raw is any indication of what’s to come, their match at Great Balls of Fire is going to be insane.
