WWE News: Triple H Responds To The Rumors UFC Star Ronda Rousey Possibly Coming To WWE

UFC star Ronda Rousey may be returning to the UFC octagon for the first time in a year later this month, but many believe she will end up with the WWE before too long and Triple H finally commented on the possibility. Of course, Ronda Rousey returns to the fighting world where she will get a shot to win her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title when she fights Amanda Nunes on December 30th. However, Ronda is a huge WWE fan and would fit in perfectly with the company.

She appeared at WrestleMania 31, exciting many of the fans in the stadium. She was part of a segment with The Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon. Triple H was out gloating over his victory over Sting the very same night and he along with Stephanie spoke about how they were the best and company was all theirs. That was when The Rock showed up to shut them up, but Stephanie put Rock into a corner where Ronda Rousey had no trouble stepping in to help.

She not only did a cool judo throw to Triple H, but had Stephanie McMahon locked in an arm hold before finally letting her go. Of course, Stephanie did try to slap Ronda, so she pretty much brought it on herself. Ever since this segment happened, fans everywhere have been hoping to see a match will all four involved at some point. At the very least, another altercation with each other.

Triple H, who also heads up WWE’s Talent Relations department, spoke to UK Sun about Ronda Rousey returning to the WWE when asked about her during an interview. Of course, there have been rumors of Ronda Rousey coming to the WWE often the last number of months. So The Game’s view on this was useful. He would tell the publication…

“I know that she’s [Rousey] is a massive fan. I know that she had a wonderful time when she worked with us in the past and I know we’ve talked about doing things in the future. Right now [Ronda] is focused on unfinished things in the UFC. I know she has a lot of other projects in the works. But, never say never in the WWE – we have a great relationship and we’ll see where it goes.”

Ronda Rousey is certainly a busy woman, as she is one of the biggest stars in sports that Hollywood continues to want. It is likely that due to her great acting ability, she will continue to get more offers in the future. That said, the world of MMA was always something she planned to leave before she got into her later years. She said in various interviews even before her loss to Holly Holm that she did not want to fight a lot into her thirties.

Ronda is 29-years-old, but will be 30 in February. That said, she could be retiring sooner rather than later. She took off a year, not because she had planned to but because of what her last loss did to her. If she were to lose again, many believe this WILL be her last fight with the UFC and in MMA period. She has a career waiting for her already, whether it is in WWE or in Hollywood — or both.

Meanwhile, if she does win her title back like many feel she will, she will most likely feel like she can do at least one or two more fights before deciding to end possibly the greatest female MMA career ever. Obviously, Triple H would love to bring Ronda Rousey to the WWE whenever possible, the real issue right now is just the timing of it all. Ronda could jump at the chance to join the WWE on a full-time basis, but it is simply unlikely she will do that.

However, Ronda Rousey could join the WWE like The Rock does. Where she comes in from time to time between movie schedules, which would certainly work for the WWE. The company may not care how they get Ronda Rousey in, WWE just wants her. No one can blame them for it either.
