Keep in mind, not all stores will be open on Thanksgiving (November 24) and stores open early Friday (November 25), but Deal News reports that many big box retailers will be offering many of their deals online.

Although previews for many Black Friday ads have already leaked out online, Apple is once again keeping their deals top secret. Their ad is typically released just hours before the sale starts, but, in recent years, their sale prices didn’t even come close to the discounts offered by their resellers.

According to BF Ads, last year’s Apple Store Black Friday sale featured discounts between $10 to $101 off on a variety of Apple products and accessories and it’s expected that their holiday deals won’t be much different this year.

This year, it looks like the big box stores will once again be the place to shop, especially if you’re looking for deals on the iPad, an iPhone, or an Apple Watch.

If you can live with a Series 1 Apple Watch, Deal News states that the lowest price (so far) is at Target where is will be priced at $198 on Black Friday, at least $21 lower than other retailers.

iPad

Target will also be the place to shop for the 32GB Apple iPad Pro (9.7?) — the price for Black Friday shoppers will be $559, but if you need even more memory, the adscan for BJ’s Wholesale Club indicates that you can scoop up the 128GB version for $589.99 (club membership required).

Other iPad offers worth checking out include the iPad Air 2 for $274 (Target) and the iPad mini 2 32 GB for $199 (Walmart). Deal News states that the Target offer is available online and in-store starting on Thanksgiving, but quantities will be limited. As far as the Walmart iPad offer goes, the iPad mini will also be available in limited quantities starting Thursday, November 24 at 6 p.m. ET, online or in-store.

iPhone

If you want to buy yourself a new iPhone on Black Friday, a number of retailers will lure you in by offering a store gift card with purchase – great idea if you are going to do more holiday shopping in that store.

This year’s gift cards are high in value with the Huffington Post reporting that Target offering a $250 store gift card and $0 down for an iPhone 7 (contract required) and Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card when you upgrade to an iPhone 7 and choose installment billing.

So far, Best Buy seems to have the best Black Friday deals on Apple laptops and desktops. Their sale runs throughout the weekend and many items will be available online, although doorbusters may be limited in quantity.

The retailers preview ad shows that both the 13.3? MacBook and the 21.5 iMac will be priced at $999 each. If you have a MacBook Pro, Best Buy is offering a minimum $250 gift card when you trade in select models and a minimum $150 gift card when you trade in select models of the MacBook Air.

Keep in mind, Apple products are extremely popular and often sell out quickly during the pre-holiday sales — make sure to do your price checking and make a shopping strategy in advance so you don’t end up empty-handed.
