Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner Copy Kim Kardashian With Sexy Corset Looks

Both Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner are looking to Kim Kardashian for fashion inspiration. Both young models do not have trouble pulling together their own edgy street style looks. Somehow, Kim Kardashian has started the corset trend and the starlets are copying her look by putting their own spin on the look.

Gigi Hadid was the latest one to “steal” Kim Kardashian’s corset style. As we all know, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star loves to cinch her tiny waist with a sexy corset – both in and out of the bedroom. Hadid, 21, took it way back to the early 2000s when she wore a black corset over a white button-up shirt dress, which she paired with black leather pants and high-heeled boots, as reported via Entertainment Tonight. The blonde beauty was attending the Stuart Weitzman launch party in New York City on Wednesday night, Oct. 26, to celebrate her new shoe, “The Gigi Boot,” according to Hollywood Life.

Gigi has been taking the fashion world by storm and not just for her modeling. Not only is she the face of the Stuart Weitzman campaign, but she also created her first-ever shoe for the brand. Just a few months ago, Gigi made her official debut in the fashion industry when she created a capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, TOMMYXGIGI, which she debuted and modeled in at New York Fashion Week last month.

She isn’t the only one to rock the corset trend. Kylie Jenner is the latest one to rock this super sexy look lately. She didn’t do it once, but twice, in recent weeks. Kylie has been showing a new interest in corsetry by sharing a photo of herself wearing a corset and a sheer skirt on Snapchat, as reported via People Style.

A day prior, the Jenner teen was spotted leaving a business meeting while wearing a green corset over an over-sized white T-shirt. Jenner accessorized her super sexy streetwear look with emerald green LeSilla thigh-high boots and her diamond ring from her boyfriend, Tyga. She even took to Instagram to share a snap shot of her outfit of the day. Jenner was still seen rocking her rose gold hair, but with longer extensions. She also stuck to a matte makeup look with bronze eyes and nude lipstick.

Kim Kardashian has been seen rocking the corset-over-T-shirt trend over the summer. She was spotted multiple times in July and August wearing this edgy but unusual look, as noted by another Entertainment Tonight report. When she was spotted out and about in Los Angeles in late August, Kardashian wore a cream-colored corset over a white T-shirt, which she paired with a light wash denim jacket and her Yeezy Lucite sandals.

While most of Kim’s family has since returned to social media and started attending public events again, Kim herself has been keeping a low profile these days. She was spotted grabbing ice cream the other day with her BFF Jonathan Cheban. Kim looked very much unlike herself with her makeup-free and sweatshirt dress look. Several weeks ago, the mother of two was robbed at gunpoint at her Paris apartment. Fortunately, she was left unharmed, but lost millions in stolen jewelry.

The investigation behind the robbery is ongoing. In the meantime, Kim has since returned to filming the next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians along with a pre-recorded interview for 60 Minutes. However, it is not clear when Kim will be ready to return to the spotlight, according to sources.

“There is no big plan in place for her comeback,” a source previously told ET. “She is still staying off the grid and away from everything.”
