Boxing fans can watch the Kell Brook vs Gennady Golovkin match live online and see which undefeated fighter can deal the first loss to his opponent.
Golovkin, the reigning middleweight champion, will face the stiffest challenge of his career when he goes against IBF welterweight belt holder Kell Brook at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night. Start time is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. BST (5:30 p.m. ET).
The Brook vs. Golovkin contest is being billed as what could be the best boxing match of the year, and Golovkin’s camp believes he will be up to the challenge.
“With marquee names running in the opposite direction, we need to keep GGG busy,” Golovkin’s trainer, Abel Sanchez, told CBS Sports. “Everybody is dangerous on any night, but GGG is a special breed. Nobody from 154 to 168 lasts the distance.”

Fans who watch the Kell Brook vs. Gennady Golovkin match live online will see an even bigger challenge for Brook. Mirror correspondent Barry McGuigan noted that Golovkin may end up being the best middleweight of all time, and said it will take a near-perfect performance from Brook to overcome.
“For Brook to prevail a number of conditions have to be met. His big hope, and this is a wild assumption, is that Golovkin does what he has never done before, come in undercooked, taking his opponent lightly.”
“Brook can punch and if he carries his speed with him, he has the potential to shake or even hurt Golovkin in the early rounds.”
“This has to be Brook’s tactic. Golovkin knows the importance of the match. He respects Brook for the fighter he is and for taking the risk, so he will be watchful at the outset.”
Brook came in a bit heavier at the weigh-in, tipping the scales at 159.4 pounds compared to 158.9 pounds for Golovkin.
“I’m entering unknown territory but I’m full of energy and will be explosive with the extra pounds,” Brook told the BBC (via Express). “There’s a lot of politics in boxing and it’s destroying the game. And if you can’t get massive fights at your weight, you may have to jump a division or two.”
It is not often that the 36-0 Brook finds himself an underdog, but that’s exactly where he will land against the Kazakh slugger who also has a perfect 35-0 record with 23 knockouts. In fact, Golovkin has never been knocked to the canvas in close to 400 amateur and professional fights, the Telegraph noted.
The odds on Brook to win close to the 9/2, 4/1 mark, the Telegraph noted.
But Brook said he’s not afraid to take on the best fighter he’s ever faced. In fact, the Yorkshireman said he believes it’s his opponent who is on edge before Saturday’s highly anticipated fight.
“I looked into his eyes and I could see fear. He knows he’s in a real fight on Saturday night and it can’t come quick enough,” he told Sky Sports.“I just feel he’s on edge and uncomfortable. He knows it’s my time and he can see in my eyes that I want to shock the world. I’m a natural at this weight and I can’t wait to show the world what I can do.”
