Kristen Stewart, First Lady of Balenciaga fragrance, arrived in Paris today ahead of Balenciaga’s fashion show tomorrow to present their Spring-Summer 2013 collection.
Wearing her usual uniform of skinny jeans, hoodie, and shades, the On The Road star waded through a battalion of paparazzi as she touched down in the City of Light this morning.
After her re-emergence into the spotlight at the recent Toronto International Film Festival and a New York Screening in support of her latest film On The Road, tomorrow will be the third major public appearance for Stewart since Hollywood was rocked with revelations of her tryst with Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders in July.
Stewart’s jet in for Paris Fashion Week ties in nicely with promotion for Florabotanica, the scent fronted by the actress, and it seems the 22-year-old’s fashion stock has never been higher. UK website MyCelebrityFashion.com reports Stewart scored highest billing in their top ten chart for the “most searched celebrity style icon.”
In a recent joint interview with Balenciaga’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, Stewart described her fragrance partner as having “such a quiet strength, such an invincibility and such an authenticity. I want to follow him blindly!”
Equally complimentary, 31 year-old-Ghesquière said of his muse:
“She is brave, really brave. She made artistic strong choices, which translate a radicality. She embodies the creative freedom. And I do not speak either about her charisma or about her beauty. It is a source of inspiration. “
The last time Stewart hit Paris for the fashion house, flashbulbs worked overtime as pictures of Stewart and Robert Pattinson made headlines around the world. While rumors continue to swirl about their relationship status, tomorrow at least will be about Stewart’s on-going relationship with Balenciaga.
Imminent fashion moment anyone?
On The Road opens in Australia tomorrow and stars Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Tom Sturridge, Alice Braga, Elizabeth Moss and Danny Morgan.
