Selena Gomez Takes Revival Tour To Australia Amid Fear She’s ‘Drinking’ And ‘Overwhelmed’

Selena Gomez is continuing with her “Revival Tour,” with the singer now ready to take on Australia. And although the tour has been lengthy, Selena did not show any signs of exhaustion in public when she arrived in Sydney, reported the Telegraph.

The “Hands To Myself” pop princess, 24, succeeded in selling out her show at Qudos Bank arena. She began the Australia phase of her “Revival Tour” in Melbourne, marking her first visit to Australia, and invited the audience to provide her with tips on enjoying herself.

“The guys are really cute here, I’m not gonna lie. I’m ready to have some fun,” she joked.

But although her “Revival Tour” performance seemed on point, Selena is reportedly garnering concern from those who care about her. The worry for the singer began the day after her 24th birthday, when she posted a shocking message on Instagram, noted Radar Online.

Selena also caused worry for her emotional state when she almost broke down introducing her song “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” during a performance in Indonesia. She sought to explain that she cares so much that she feels “stupid” because she can’t communicate.

“The next song, before I go home, is a song that’s so important to me. Because I get really frustrated. I get stupid sometimes,” confessed Gomez.

“I say things that I don’t mean, or that come out wrong just because I care so badly.”

The pop singer continued her speech to discuss her feelings about anger versus love.

“At the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won,” she asserted. “I do know that deep down in my heart that I have to believe that we can love each other and always be kind no matter what it takes in us. I believe that we can do that, no matter what.”

That speech on stage was followed by a lengthy rant on Instagram in which she expressed fear about being “inauthentic.” Selena announced her intention to “rethink,” both personally and “creatively,” then deleted her message.

That emotional performance, followed by the Instagram rant, occurs as Gomez has faced a backlash for siding with her pal Taylor Swift. Selena shared her support for Swift amid the fierce feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Earlier this year, she was attacked for reports that she hooked up with Orlando Bloom while he was dating Katy Perry.

Amid all this stress, those in her inner circle are worried about signs that Gomez is “overwhelmed,” revealed an insider cited by OK! Magazine.

“She has been having breakdowns and is rethinking her entire music career and life path right now.”

Moreover, one of Selena’s pals expressed fear for the singer’s emotional well-being, describing her as “in a very, very bad place mentally.” Reflecting on what she had observed recently, the friend confessed concern.

“She’s totally spiraling downward,” claimed the pal.

To cope with all the pressure and stress from her tour and personal relationships, Gomez has allegedly turned to drinking and partying to excess.

“She’s been so unhappy and has been drinking and partying too much to cope,” added the friend.

The pop music princess also reportedly is “overwhelmed” and “exhausted.” Seeking a solution, she even informed her inner circle that she wanted to halt her “Revival Tour,” according to the source.

“[Selena] was telling her team she wanted to quit the tour and cancel dates.”

As for any history behind that desire to exit the Revival Tour, she made a similar move in 2013. At that time, the singer cancelled some of the dates on her world tour. However, at that time, she was secretly battling lupus and also having problems with her then-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
