Bella Hadid is quickly moving into her sister Gigi Hadid’s footsteps. The brunette beauty has just scored a major campaign with Dior Beauty.
On Tuesday, May 31, Bella Hadid has been announced as Dior’s latest makeup ambassador. The 19-year-old will make her big debut at the brand’s 2017 cruise show in England on May 31, according to the French luxury house.
In addition to her brand ambassadorship, Hadid will also appear alongside Dior Makeup creative and image director Peter Philips in his series, Dior Makeup Live with Bella Hadid. The short-lived series is expected to premiere on June 6 and will feature Hadid getting ready backstage at Dior’s cruise show. She will also talk about her favorite beauty items from the brand. Hadid joins a long list of A-list stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cottilard, and Natalie Portman.
Bella Hadid took to Instagram to announce her “dream come true” on Tuesday morning with a gorgeous photo of herself that’s likely to be from the campaign. There is no word on when fans can expect Bella’s first ad, but it’s likely to happen shortly after the cruise show.
According to Elle, Hadid has been casually dropping hints about her new gig on Instagram for the past few weeks. Three weeks ago, she shared a photo of herself wearing a white crop top and black high-waisted shorts with Dior shopping bags and beauty products sprawled around her.
Then, four months ago, Bella took to Instagram once again to tease this photo of her smoldering makeup look on the runway. Hopefully, the video will give fans ideas on how to achieve both of Bella’s makeup and no-makeup looks.
Bella Hadid is one busy lady lately. Amid her exciting news, the model was seen stopping for photos with fans while leaving her hotel in Paris, France, on Saturday, May 28. The bombshell wore a brown satin bomber jacket with black leggings and a black leather motorcycle cap. Hadid spent most of her weekend in the City of Lights before flying out to Puglia, Italy, where she will shoot an upcoming editorial feature for Vogue Japan alongside fellow models Irina Shayk and Anna Dello Russo.

She took to Instagram to share a sizzling photo of herself in a racy black bikini. She’s seen raising her arms as she flirtatiously bends her left knee in the shallow water.
The bandeau bikini featured a mesh insert that showed off Bella’s cleavage. It included matching bottoms that featured mesh accents and lace ties. She later changed out of the two-piece number to then pose in a black lace backless gown.
Hadid and Shayk also enjoyed some time together after the photo shoot. The models enjoyed eating shrimp and sea urchin, according to their Instagram posts.
The model last made headlines when she stole the spotlight at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Bella was seen wearing a provocative red silk gown that featured a plunging neckline and high slit that started at her hip. Some outlets assumed that Bella opted to go without a bra and underwear, which was not true. Bella’s stylist, Elizabeth Sulcer, revealed to Vanity Fair what she really wore underneath that Alexander Vauthier Couture gown.
“The dress has a built-in-silk bodysuit. Top-stick [tape] is always a good idea. Practice makes perfect.”
She also explained how Bella Hadid settled on that scandalous gown. Even though previous reports said Hadid stole Rita Ora’s look from the 2014 MTV VMAs, Sulcer says that the gown was specially made for Hadid.
“We knew we wanted to create something really beautiful and iconic in collaboration with Alexandre Vauthier. He is an amazing friend and talent in the industry. Every aspect of the dress was planned.”
