Fans can watch the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game live online to see which team can break the stalemate in Sunday’s Game 5.

The teams are deadlocked at two wins apiece and will face off Sunday at 8 p.m. in Pittsburgh. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network, and it will also be available live online (a link to the streaming video can be found below).

After a back-and-forth series, both teams will be looking to grab the key 3-2 lead before the series shifts back to Tampa Bay later in the week.

For the Penguins, Game 5 brings a new level of uncertainty after rookie goaltender Matt Murray was yanked in a Game 4 loss on Friday, giving up four goals through two periods. The veteran Marc-Andre Fleury came in to relieve Murray, the first time in seven weeks that he’s hit the ice after recovering from a late-season concussion.

Fleury helped put his team in place for a rally, stopping all seven shots he faced as the Penguins brought it back to 4-3, but his team was unable to score the equalizer.

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan has been mum this weekend about which goalie he’ll put out for Sunday’s Game 5, but has said all playoff season long that he has two capable starters.

“Marc’s been a big part of this team all year,” Sullivan said (via ESPN). “He’s really helped this team get to the position it’s at with the way he’s played all season. The timing of his injury down the stretch was unfortunate. It’s not a perfect circumstance. But I think that’s the nature of the business we’re in. We just try to make the best decisions and make the most of the situation that we’re in.”

But, on Sunday afternoon, the team announced that Marc-Andre Fleury would be between the pipes.

Fleury could be a bit rusty, as he’s now played just less than one period in total since going out on March 31. He was only cleared to play in the last week as he dealt with lingering concussion symptoms.

But Fleury has a Stanley Cup and 97 career playoff starts, CBS Sports noted, and brings some stability to a team preparing for a critical Game 5.

“Considering the stakes of the series with it tied heading into Game 5, the players are going to know the urgency they need to play with. A goaltending switch probably isn’t going to do much to change the mentality. What they have to wonder about, though, is how the long layoff between starts has affected Fleury if at all.”

The Lightning have said they would prepare the same either way, knowing the Penguins have two capable goaltenders.

“I don’t think it really changes anything because ultimately they (were) playing a guy that was on fire,” coach Jon Cooper said. “(Murray) has carried them to this point. I think whatever decision they make you still got to put the puck behind them. They’re both really good National Hockey League goalies, so it doesn’t change our mindset or outlook at all.”

Fans who watch the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Tampa Bay Lighting live online will see a Penguins team hobbled. Defenseman Trevor Daley is out with a lower-body injury, which has been identified as a broken ankle that could keep him out of the remainder of the playoffs.
