Felipe Massa Accident Video shows what REALLY happened

Felipe Massa accident videos are showing up online after he was struck in the head by derbis on the track when his car ran over a chunk of rubber during a practice round prior to Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix.

The accident video shows, from the driver’s point of view, exactly what caused Felipe Massa to crash, sending him to hospital where he’s in stable condition.

  1. His car did not run over a chunk of rubber. A rear suspension spring had fallen off of Rubens Barrichello's car (weighing about 800 grams), bounced up from the track and impacted the upper left quadrant of Felipe Massa's helmet. Massa was traveling approximately 120 MPH at the time, and when combined with the momentum of the spring is said to have produced the equivalent injury as having bit hit with a baseball bat while not wearing a helmet.

    Typical FI Management. I understand they have to investigate the crash, but why block all access to the videos? If the videos are out then they can't cover up the real facts in the crash like they did with Ayrton Senna's crash 15 years ago. Very, very typical. If they're gonna cry copyright infringement then why broadcast the race when they know someone is recording it? Ya don't see them telling the news agencies thet they can't show the vids, so I don't see the harm in having the vids on youtube!
