Watch India Vs. West Indies Cricket Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video For ICC World T20 Semi Final Match

Fans can watch the India vs. West Indies cricket match live online and see if India can continue its march to the ICC World T20 finals.

India needed two thrilling finishes to reach the ICC World T20 semi finals, the first by holding Bangladesh to three consecutive outs to end the match, all while clinging to a one-run lead. In the final match against Australia, which was essentially a quarterfinal, India was able to chase the Aussie squad’s 61, thanks to a blistering hitting performance from Virat Kohli.

That has led to Thursday’s semi-final match against West Indies at Mumbai, with the match starting at 7 p.m. local time. A link to streaming video of the match can be found below.

Fans who watch the India vs. West Indies cricket match live online may not see a high-scoring affair. IBN Live reported that Wankhede Stadium will not be batter-friendly for Friday’s match.

“The Wankhede Stadium track being prepared for the ICC World T20 semi final clash between India and the West Indies is unlikely to favour the batsmen to the same extent as it did in the earlier matches, it has been learnt.”

“‘There’s an even coating of grass to bind the wicket, but the track would be slower than in earlier games. But it will still be a good T20 wicket,’ informed sources said here today ahead of the March 31 clash which is to be witnessed by a packed capacity crowd of 33,000 spectators.”

“The heat in Mumbai has been on the higher side over the last few days with mercury touching the mid-30s, and this factor too is expected to affect the way the track will behave, the sources pointed out.”

There is already plenty of tension building for the match. Chris Gayle said that he knows his West Indies squad is a big underdog, but said they are ready to pull off the upset.

“They have made some momentum. There’s no doubt about it they have the momentum and a lot of confidence coming into this game as well,” he said (via the Times of India). “It is very difficult to pinpoint one particular player in the Indian team. It is a very good all-round team, good fielding team as well. That’s why India is the favourite. It is always going to be difficult to beat them here, but like I said for West Indies the upset is ready.”

At times, it looked uncertain whether India could reach the semi-final round. Coming into the tournament as the far and away favorites, India was humbled by New Zealand in the opening match and just barely made it past Australia for the last berth in the final four.

India’s team director, Ravi Shastri, said that his team still has plenty to improve upon.

“I still believe we have played only 70 per cent to our abilities in this tournament. There are still areas where we can improve. Let’s hope it happens tomorrow (Thursday),” Shastri said (via the Indian Express).
