WWE News: Does Ric Flair Want Daughter Charlotte To Date Kevin Love?
Could there be a possible “love” connection between WWE Divas Champion Charlotte, professional wrestling legend Ric Flair’s daughter, and Kevin Love of the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers?
In appearance on SI Now with Maggie Gray, the host asked Charlotte about which professional athlete is her biggest fan, proud dad Ric Flair weighed in about Kevin Love supposedly wanting his daughter’s phone number, a discussion which understandably appeared to make Charlotte somewhat uncomfortable. “She’s being very shy…Kevin Love wants her digits. I am the Cavaliers’ biggest fan. I love LeBron; met Kevin Love for the first time last year in the playoffs. And the first thing he said was, ‘I’m a huge fan of yours, but I love your daughter.’ Then I had to go back and research his contract to see how much money he was making before I went forward with the conversation…”
When Maggie Gray asked Charlotte if using her dad as a dating go-between was a good idea, Ric Flair quipped that “[Kevin Love] wasn’t going for my permission; he just said ‘I’m a big fan of your daughter,’ and then that was it…he single, he makes a lot of money, and he’s a man…I think he’s fantastic; he’s a good guy.”
Father and daughter are making the media rounds to promote WrestleMania 32 which will take place on Sunday, April 3, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern time. There, Charlotte will take on Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match. The main event is Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

“Charlotte appears single and ready to mingle after finalizing her divorce from TNA star Bram in October after two years of marriage. Bram was suspended from wrestling indefinitely following his arrest for false imprisonment and strangulation last August,” the New York Post claimed.
Back in January 2014, Ric Flair also revealed that despite being a longtime Charlotte, North Carolina, resident (perhaps the origin of his daughter’s ring name), he was a big fan of the NFL San Francisco 49ers and gave the team a pep talk before their NFL Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
Ric Flair (Fliehr), 67, is a 16-time World’s Heavyweight Champion. The flamboyant “Nature Boy” is considered perhaps the greatest pro wrestler of all time. In addition to his in-ring athleticism, Rick Flair in his prime cut the best promos of anyone in that sports-entertainment genre during his prime in the NWA, WCW, and WWE among other promotions. Out of the ring, Flair has faced legal and family challenges, however.
Also famous for his “Whooooo” battle cry and “to be the man, you have to beat the man” signature catchphrase, Ric Flair has the distinction of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, as an individual performer and as a member of the Four Horsemen.
In an interview about a year ago, Ric Flair claimed that Charlotte could give MMA fighter Ronda Rousey a run for her money, particularly if his daughter trained more in submission wrestling. Ronda Rousey, a big WWE fan, appeared at WrestleMania 31, where she was involved in an in-ring segment with The Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.
