Super Bowl Dips — Get Game Day Ready With These Delicious Recipes


It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and many people are either hosting or attending a Super Bowl party, which means you are going to be watching a lot of football and eating a lot of food!

Nothing’s better than chips and dip when you are watching a good game, which is why we have prepared a list of some of the best dip recipes to get your game day ready. So, grab some chips and check out these dip recipes below.

Big Game Dip Recipe from Allrecipes.com.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (2 pound) loaf processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar hot salsa
  • 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce
  • 3 large jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Melt processed cheese in a slow cooker on low
  2. Cook and stir pork sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly (approximately 10 minutes); drain excess grease
  3. Mix sausage into processed cheese in the cooker
  4. Stir in salsa, hot sauce, and jalapeno peppers.
  5. Cook for 2 hours; serve hot.

BLT Super Bowl Dip from Bettycrocker.com.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bacon, cooked
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F degrees.
  2. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and cream cheese in a bowl until thoroughly combined
  3. Crumble bacon into mixture and stir
  4. Add cheddar cheese, green onions, and tomato and mix well
  5. Pour into a shallow dish or pie pan and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbling
  6. Garnish with additional green onions, tomato, and crumbled bacon
  7. Serve with corn chips.

Blue Cheese Hot Wing Dip from Southernliving.com.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-oz.) package 1/3-less-fat cream cheese, softened and cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 (4-oz.) package crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. milk (optional)

Directions:

  1. Pulse first 10 ingredients in a food processor 4 times or just until blended
  2. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl, and gently stir in blue cheese
  3. Stir in 1 to 2 Tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. at a time, for desired consistency (optional)
  4. Cover and chill 1 to 2 hours before serving
  5. Garnish, if desired, with crumbled blue cheese, chopped green onions, freshly cracked pepper
  6. Serve with chicken tenders, celery sticks, radishes, and hot wing sauce
  7. Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 7 days.

Cheesy Spinach and Bacon Dip from Phyllis Pellman Good of Fox News.

Ingredients:

  • 10 Ounce package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 Pound Velveeta, or your choice of soft cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 3 Ounce package of cream cheese, softened
  • 14 1/2 Ounce can of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 8 Slices of Bacon, cooked crisped and crumbled
  • Crackers or chips

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except bacon, crackers and chips in slow cooker
  2. Cover. Heat on low 1 hour, or until cheeses have melted and dip is heated through- Stir occasionally
  3. Stir in crumbled bacon before serving
  4. Serve warm with crackers and/or chips

Spicy Queso Dip from Myrecipes.com.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (16-oz.) package pepper Jack pasteurized prepared cheese product, cubed
  • 1 (10-oz.) can diced tomatoes and green chiles
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Tortilla chips

Directions:

  1. Cook onion in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until tender
  2. Add garlic, and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  3. Combine cheese, tomatoes, and onion mixture in a large microwave-safe glass bowl
  4. Microwave on high 5 minutes, stirring every 2 1/2 minutes
  5. Stir in cilantro
  6. Serve with tortilla chips.

Caramel Apple Dip from Myrecipes.com.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Fresh apple slices

Directions:

  1. Stir together first 3 ingredients just until blended
  2. Spoon mixture into a 10-oz. ramekin; level and smooth surface with a spatula
  3. Cover and chill 2 to 8 hours
  4. Preheat broiler with oven rack 5 inches from heat
  5. Sprinkle granulated sugar over mixture in ramekin
  6. Fill an 8-inch cake pan with ice; place ramekin in pan.
  7. Broil 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar is melted and caramelized
  8. Let stand 5 minutes
  9. Serve with apple slices.
