Kendall And Kylie Jenner Unveil Surprisingly Affordable And Chic New Line
The youngest of the sisters in the Kardashian-Jenner clan are all about making a name for themselves, both separate and as a unit. Kylie and Kendall Jenner already experienced great success with their joint efforts on last year’s TopShop line, and now the raven-haired beauties have gone a step further to bring their latest line to an array of top department stores at an affordable price.
“Kendall and Kylie Jenner might be the littlest sisters in the Kardashian-Jenner-West family, but that’s never stopped them from thinking big. Their latest brainchild, a collaborative fashion line called Kendall + Kylie, debuts on Revolve tomorrow, with a full rollout of stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom, on the agenda next month.”
As the magazine reminds, since Kylie and Kendall have a very close relationship with a number of big name designers such as Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel and Olivier of Balmain, not to mention the fact that they are the sisters-in-law to a menswear designer, Kanye West, it was likely quite easy to come up with chic looks and receive guidance for their latest fashion line.
Kendall spoke on the subject of she and Kylie’s latest line.
“This collection is really important to us because it’s a reflection of our point of view in the fashion world today. We’ve matured a lot in our tastes and aesthetics and are inspired by so many people in the industry, that creating this line is something we’re really proud of.”
Kylie also spoke about her collaboration with her older sister.
“This collection is our most elevated and sophisticated, yet it’s so versatile. There’s something for everyone, no matter your age. Kendall and I are excited to start wearing it and can’t wait to see our friends in it, too.”
The line is clearly an interpretation and extension of the duo’s own personal styles, which almost always include midriff-bearing crop tops, playful skater dresses, and form-fitting numbers, of a variety of patterns and in a variety of fabrics, that give a more grown-up appeal to a younger and flirty look.
Vogue shares a bit of review based on what the Jenner girls have come up with in their Kendall + Kylie show wear line, as well. Additionally, the publication notes the cost of the fashion line, which is surprisingly affordable.
“There are some pretty attention-grabbing shoes in the mix, too, which run the gamut of classic date-night stilettos to easy-walking espadrilles. Thankfully, putting your best foot forward in the new collection won’t cost the earth either, with the opening price points starting at $68 for clothing and $100 for shoes. Those searching for lessons on how to style the line should look no further than the globe-trotting street style of the Jenner sisters themselves.”
The sisters have unveiled their collection at New York Fashion Week, yet are entirely devoted to their fans, who they vow will be able to have first dibs at viewing the collection. E! News relays the intentions of the reality stars-turned-fashionista designers.
“The duo is also planning to give friends and fans a first look at the collection in real life during New York Fashion Week, debuting the line at a private residence. Meanwhile, NYFW has already been incredibly eventful for Kendall. The 20-year-old supermodel opened the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show on Tuesday, hitting the runway in a seriously fab ensemble (before twerking behind-the-scenes with besties Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid).”
Although they are the family who are loved yet hated just as intensely, Kylie and Kendall have done wonders for their own images over the past year by taking a step out and using their own talents and entrepreneurial smarts.
