If you are a last-minute holiday shopper, you need to grab your list start your shopping as soon as possible — most retailers will be closing early on Christmas Eve.

Check the list of Christmas Eve store closing times below and make your shopping game plan or you may be stuck with buying gifts at 7-Eleven or a 24-hour CVS — both stores will be open on Christmas Day.

Retail stores aren’t the only businesses that are closing early on Thursday. most supermarkets, liquor stores, banks and the U.S. Post Office will also be closing early on Christmas Eve. If you need to make a bank deposit or cash a check, Go Banking Rates states that Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, Capital One, Wells Fargo, PNC Bank, SunTrust, TD Bank and U.S. Bank will be locking their doors as early at 2 p.m.

The same thing goes for the U.S. Post Office hours on Thursday. According to the USPS, most post office locations will close their lobby at 12 noon on Christmas Eve and won’t reopen again until Saturday, December 26. If you forgot to mail out a gift to your Aunt in Texas or your best friend in Alaska, the deadline has already passed for getting mail delivered in time for Christmas unless you pay sky-high fees to overnight the package via FedEx or UPS.

So, what’s the latest time procrastinators can shop on Christmas Eve? Although some retailers will stay open as late as 11 p.m. on Thursday night, most stores and malls across the country will close between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time.

Time reports that all Walmart stores will close at 8 p.m. on December 24, even Super Walmart stores. For those who really want to wait until the last minute to shop, Target will be open until 11 p.m. on Thursday night.

Need more toys for the good girls and boys on your list? All Toys R Us locations will be open 39 hours straight from December 23 ’til their 9 p.m. closing time on December 24.

Best Buy will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, but the electronics retailer is extending their shopping hours prior to that, staying open until 11 p.m. from December 21-23.

Macy’s will also close at 6 p.m. on Thursday after being open until midnight during the last few days leading up to Christmas Eve.

This year, Kohl’s announced that their stores would stay open 170 hours straight leading up to Christmas Eve, with doors open 24/7. It will all come to an end at 6 p.m. on December 24 when employees will finally get a break from the marathon shopping madness.

JC Penney will open at 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve, but closing times vary by location. Last year, many JCP stores closed at 6 p.m., so call ahead to be sure.

CBS reports that 9 out of 10 Americans will be doing last-minute holiday shopping, with a little more than half of the procrastinators choosing to skip online ordering and head to the store to avoid a late delivery.

Procrastination may pay off for these shoppers, though. Many retailers are offering big discounts on clothing, electronics, and toys right up until the final hours before they close down for the Christmas holiday.
