Watch Alabama Vs. LSU Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Link For Saturday’s Showdown

Fans can watch the Alabama vs. LSU football game live online and see which team takes home what could be the biggest game of the regular season.

The No. 4 Tigers are traveling to Tuscaloosa to face the No. 2 Crimson Tide, with both teams fighting for a spot atop the College Football Playoff bracket. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. with coverage on CBS, but it will also be available online for those unable to make it to a television (link to streaming video can be found below).

It appears to be another memorable contest from the longtime rivals. This will be the seventh time in the last 10 years that both teams enter their matchup ranked in the top 10 nationally. Alabama has won the last four, including a 20-13 win in overtime last year.

LSU coach Les Miles said this year’s contest is already very highly anticipated.

“I can tell you that as an LSU fan there is great interest in this game,” Miles said (via ESPN).

But Miles said he’s ready to take on the Crimson Tide.

“The good news is we’ve played these games before and we certainly understand them,” Miles said. “A big game is only so big, right? You’re playing for all the things you wanted to play for at the beginning of the year. You’re playing for the lead in the West. And you’ve put yourself, with your achievements, this team, in position to do so. They should look forward to it. They should relish it.”

The matchup has already stirred up big emotions with fans. This week a group of Alabama fans stirred up controversy with a sign mocking Hurricane Katrina.

Alabama officials apologized for the banner, noting that it was removed.

“UA is appalled that anyone would display a banner with such an inappropriate and offensive statement. It’s our understanding that the banner was hung at an off-campus apartment complex and it has been removed.”

But fans who watch the Alabama vs. LSU football game live online will be able to put the controversy behind and watch what should be a great football game. LSU leads the FBS in total rushing yards, with 1,352, but has a potent passing attack as well. Over the last six games, quarterback Brandon Harris has 12 touchdown passes and no interceptions.

A win on Saturday night for LSU could cement their place atop the College Football Playoff and possibly push Alabama out of contention entirely. The loss would be Alabama’s second, and with No. 5 Notre Dame holding on to defeat Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon, they would likely be pushed out of the bracket, possibly for good.

Right now, Alabama is the only team in the bracket that isn’t undefeated, with their only loss coming to No. 18 Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide do have a strong resume, with wins over No. 19 Texas A&M, and both Wisconsin and Georgia were ranked when they lost to Alabama earlier this year.

But ESPN‘s Alex Scarborough said the game could end up coming down to special teams, with Alabama kicker Adam Griffith just 1 for 4 this season on field goal attempts of 40 yards or longer.

“This is going to be a game of hidden yardage and missed opportunities. So pay close attention to special teams, where both of these teams have struggled,” he said, adding, “If the defenses play well and the game is played between the 30s and not the red zone, that could come into play.
