Sandra Bullock Braves New Boyfriend With Troubled Past

Sandra Bullock’s new boyfriend, Bryan Randall, 49, has moved in to her 8,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion to be a father figure for her 5-year-old son, Louis, whom she adopted in New Orleans in 2010. With the expected arrival of an adopted baby girl, the otherwise childless Bullock, 51, has fashioned for herself a well-balanced family. She has accepted Randall as a partner to raise kids with despite his troubled past.

According to Us Weekly magazine, Sandra Bullock and her photographer beau decided to live together after less than a year of dating. They went public with their romance in August and have been reportedly getting serious about spending a good amount of time together.

Star Pulse reports that after a low-key relationship, Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall appeared openly together in August at the backyard wedding of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. In early September, the secretive couple joined Aniston and Theroux on a double date at Sandra Bullock’s restaurant in Austin, Texas.

Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock was previously married to Monster Garage host Jesse James, 46, but split from him in April, 2010, after five years of marriage following a public scandal. Several women claimed to be having affairs with James while he was still married to Sandra, sparking the divorce. In a public apology to Bullock, James claimed responsibility for her ordeal.

“There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

According to ET, what James regards as the hardest part of the divorce is losing his relationship with son Louis, whom he had adopted with Sandra Bullock in January, 2010.

As for Bryan Randall, People reports that he runs a lifestyle photography company focused on children and outdoor scenes; he’s modeled for Harper’s Bazaar and Saint Laurent; he’s attended Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshops; he has a college-aged daughter; and he’s originally from Portland, Oregon.

According to Hollywood Life, Randall also struggled through a troubled past, starting with a 1988 D.U.I. charge in Portland, taking five years before he pleaded guilty. Follownews reports that Randall was in rehab for substance abuse while his fiancée, Janine Staten, was pregnant with their daughter Skylar in the early 1990s. Then Staten died in 2007 from heroin complications forcing Skylar to live with her estranged father. In 2012, Randall faced a restraining order for smearing his neighbor’s door with dog feces.

However, Randall seems to be at a turnaround point in his life with E! News reporting him to be “in love” with Sandra, and the two are committed to a future together. He has been spending time with her son Louis, who recently started kindergarten, while Bullock has gotten to know Bryan’s daughter Skylar.

Sandra Bullock, who has exhibited a philosophical bent, is not put off by Randall’s past. A firm believer in creating happiness with whatever ingredients are on the table, she shares this, among her many other quotes.

“I think most of us are raised with preconceived notions of the choices we’re supposed to make. We waste so much time making decisions based on someone else’s idea of our happiness – what will make you a good citizen or a good wife or daughter or actress. Nobody says, ‘Just be happy – go be a cobbler or go live with goats.'”

What has preoccupied Sandra Bullock in terms of creating happiness is the prospect of adopting a little sister for son Louis. She has reportedly been waiting for the opportune time to make her move, and now that she is comfortably settled with her new boyfriend, another dream can be realized.

Forbes recently announced that Sandra Bullock has a net worth of $200 million. Her achievements in the motion picture industry and considerable wealth score her even with Taylor Swift and Jessica Alba, who both can also boast of a $200 million net worth.

With deep pockets to capitalize her happiness project, nothing can stop Sandra Bullock now.
