The matchup features Champions League winner Barcelona taking on Europa League winner Sevilla. The match takes place Tuesday at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi, Georgia. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET (6:45 p.m. GMT).

The match will be an interesting one for FC Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakiti?, who is taking on his former team. After missing Sevilla’s UEFA Super Cup last year when signing with Barcelona, he now gets a chance to play for the other side.

He told UEFA.com as follows.

“On the one hand, yes, but it’s also a little bittersweet. I have to thank my team-mates and club for giving me this chance. What I lost last season, I now have this year – and the desire is much greater as a result. I’ve had to wait another year for this moment. Starting the season, or having the possibility to start the season, with a trophy is even better. And it’s sweeter still because it’s against my Sevilla.”

It is strange for Sevilla to be an opponent, Ivan said.

“Because when I say I’m going home, I mean I’m going to my house in Seville,” he said. “That is where my wife is, where my daughter was born. So I have a very special connection, not just with the club, but with the city and all the people there.”

Fans who watch the FC Barcelona vs. Sevilla football match live online will see a Barcelona squad missing one of its most important players. The Brazilian Neymar will miss this contest and be out for several more, battling disease.

“The first team medical staff at FC Barcelona has announced on Sunday that Neymar will be out for two weeks after being diagnosed with parotitis (mumps), despite the fact that he had previously been vaccinated against the disease,” the team said on its website. “Therefore, the Brazilian striker will miss the European Super Cup final on Tuesday in Tbilisi, Georgia against Sevilla and also the Spanish Super Cup final which sees Luis Enrique’s team take on Athletic Club over two legs on 14 and 17 August.”
