Lingerie Football League Set For September Kick-Off (VIDEO)

The Lingerie Football League is set to kick off its season in September in Chicago. The Miami Caliente team will face-off with the Chicago Bliss — all while wearing, of course, tiny shorts and bikini tops.

The Lingerie Football League

The Lingerie Football League began as part of the Super Bowl half-time show, in which women would compete in an event dubbed the Lingerie Bowl. The game’s popularity led to the creation of the full league, which previously had only four teams but expanded to 10 for 2009.

The teams include: Atlanta Steam, Chicago Bliss, Miami Caliente, New England Euphoria, Tampa Breeze, Dallas Desire, Denver Dream, Los Angeles Temptation, San Diego Seduction, and Seattle Mist.

The Lingerie Football League will play one game per week during its 2009 season. The league will use major stadiums across the U.S.
