The Premium Times reported,

“There will be more trouble for the Chadians as they also discovered that their training equipment and kits had been left behind by the airline in Europe.”

“The embarrassing development forced officials of the team to go shopping for training equipment in time for their only pre-game training session at the match venue on Friday afternoon.”

“All my players are tired and there are no clothes, football is not very important now because some players are afraid that we are already in Nigeria and we don’t even have money to buy another jersey,” Chad’s coach Emmanuel Tregoat said.
