WWE News: Samoa Joe Sends A Message To Kevin Owens After His Win Against John Cena

In only a few weeks, the WWE landscape changed for the better. Samoa Joe made his debut in the WWE at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view opened a lot of eyes in the WWE Universe. Kevin Owens beat John Cena clean, which stunned the entire audience. Yes, Owens defeated the United States champion cleanly.

If that wasn’t enough to shock the wrestling fanbase, Dean Ambrose left with the WWE World Heavyweight championship, after nearly winning it himself. Overall, the Elimination Chamber provided excellent entertainment for all WWE fans.

Going back to Samoa Joe, he is out to get Kevin Owens, the current-NXT champion. Since Owens signed a new WWE contract that will bring him to the WWE main roster permanently, Owens will drop the NXT title soon. When that is, it remains to be seen. However, Owens is advertised for WWE RAW until WWE SummerSlam.

By adding fuel to the proverbial fire, Samoa Joe called out Kevin Owens on Twitter in a mysterious way.

Right now, Kevin Owens has everything a WWE superstar would want. He’s only been with the company since November and is consistently having great matches and impressing WWE officials. Even though Sami Zayn’s injury derailed WWE’s plans, Owens in the picture didn’t hurt the big picture one bit.

More than likely, Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens will wrestle at the next WWE NXT special for the championship. From there, either Finn Balor or Joe will capture the championship, letting Owens go up to the WWE main roster for good. It won’t affect Owens’ progress, as last night’s Elimination Chamber victory set the scene for his future.

The three of them will be involved in a match in the future. WWE.com recently asked what their fans’ WWE NXT dream match for Samoa Joe would be. Instead of taking the poll, Finn Balor responded on Twitter with a great idea for a dream match.

There’s a great potential that Balor’s WWE dream match with Samoa Joe could come true. All three of the opponents for Balor’s team are heels.

Kevin Owens may align with Triple H at some point in the future. Plus, Seth Rollins is the face of WWE. Balor, Joe, and John Cena are all fan-favorites. If all six men would be on the WWE main roster by Survivor Series, the potential would be there. Then again, next year they all will be.
