WWE News: Future Of Bray Wyatt Revealed, Is A Babyface Turn In The Works?

Bray Wyatt came out on WWE Raw last night to talk about his feud with Ryback. In another eloquent promo where Wyatt talked about Ryback’s strength, Wyatt proved why he is the “new face of fear” and attempted to instill that fear in the former Tough Enough participant. After the promo, Ryback stormed the ring and took out the WWE’s Wyatt, looking quite strong in the process.

The odd thing about this feud is that Ryback is hardly the babyface. When Wyatt comes out to his music, the crowd becomes completely silent and takes out their cell phone flashlight to light the dark arena. As the WWE calls it, they are Wyatt’s “fireflies,” which constitutes a babyface-like mentality.

Which begs the question, is Bray Wyatt ever going to turn completely babyface? Even though he gets more cheers than Ryback, Wyatt is the heel in this program. There was a rumor that Bray Wyatt was going to reunite with the Wyatt Family and re-create the monster heel trio. After last night’s WWE Raw, that still isn’t evident. However, that doesn’t mean he won’t become a babyface in the future.

According to Ringside News, Bray Wyatt will not be a monster heel forever in WWE.

“The feeling within WWE is that Bray Wyatt, who still has his supporters, will eventually turn babyface but now is not the right time.”

Wyatt will be best-suited for a babyface run with the WWE. He is already cheered more than most WWE superstars on the main roster. The perfect example goes back to his feud with John Cena. He tried to get Cena to turn heel, which automatically won over the WWE Universe. To this day, Wyatt is a face, even though he portrays a heel persona.

That said, who are good opponents for Bray Wyatt after the Ryback feud is over? This program shouldn’t last long, which Bray Wyatt will ultimately win. Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler are two good choices as a heel. Since Lesnar is coming back a top babyface, Wyatt would have to remain a heel for it to work. Two great choices are Roman Reigns and Randy Orton.

If anybody can get under the skin of Roman Reigns, it’s Bray Wyatt. As for who would win that feud, it would turn into a toss-up. Both men need a good program to win, while each WWE superstar would gain a lot of respect if they lose. Wyatt is so versatile that anybody WWE puts in front of him, he’ll break down the wall and reach that “brass ring.” Once Ryback is done, Wyatt will search for greener pastures. Orton or Reigns would be a step in the right direction.
