Ben Carson: Politically Incorrect Or Raving Lunatic? Six Quotes Proving Dr. Carson Is A Crazy Person

Dr. Ben Carson made medical history in 1987 when he became the first surgeon to separate conjoined twins fused at the head. On May 4, he announced his candidacy for the presidency. At his presidential campaign announcement in Detroit, Carson openly admitted “I gotta tell you something. I’m not politically correct,” which is probably the understatement of the year.

“Politically correct” as defined by dictionary.com is “marked by or adhering to a typically progressive orthodoxy on issues involving especially ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or ecology.” This does not do justice to the rantings of Ben Carson.

Ben Carson: Politically Incorrect or Raving Lunatic?

That’s more like it.

The following quotes by Dr. Carson himself are offered here as proof of the Lunacy Hypothesis.

Ben Carson On President Obama

While watching Obama’s sixth state of the union address with his business manager, Armstrong Williams, Williams remarked of Obama’s appearance, “He looks good. He looks clean. Shirt’s white. The tie. He looks elegant.” To which Carson replied “Like most psychopaths. That’s why they’re successful. That’s the way they look. They all look great.”

“[Obamacare is] the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery. In a way, it is slavery, because it is making all of us subservient to the government.”

Ben Carson On Homosexuality

When asked in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo whether he thought homosexuality was a choice, Carson answered “absolutely.”

“Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”

In a radio interview with Chris Hannity, Ben Carson delved further into gay rights by addressing the issue of gay marriage. “Marriage is between a man and a woman. It’s a well-established pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality—it doesn’t matter what they are, they don’t get to change the definition,” Carson said. Classy.

Ben Carson On Abortion

In response to DoveTV host Perry Atkinson, who lamented about the state of America, and claimed that the fault behind every ill in the country was due to Americans having abortions, Carson said “It’s interesting, that we sit around and call other ancient civilizations ‘heathen’ because of human sacrifice, but aren’t we actually guilty of the same thing?”

Human sacrifice!

Ben Carson On Liberals (And, Uh… Nazis?)

“There comes a time when people with values simply have to stand up. Think about Nazi Germany. Most of those people did not believe in what Hitler was doing. But did they speak up? Did they stand up for what they believe in? They did not, and you saw what happened.”

Ben Carson On Political Correctness In America (Oh, And Nazis… Again):

In an interview with Breitbart, Carson said “I mean, [America is] very much like Nazi Germany. And I know you’re not supposed to say ‘Nazi Germany,’ but I don’t care about political correctness. You know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate the population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe.”

Ben Carson On Ray Rice

And finally, Ben Carson on Ray Rice (with some victim blaming thrown in for good measure, of course).

“Let’s not all jump on the bandwagon of demonizing this guy. He obviously has some real problems. And his wife obviously knows that because she subsequently married him. So they both need some help.”

And there you have it folks, one of your 2016 GOP candidates, Dr. Ben Carson.

Cue applause.
