Naya Rivera And Ryan Dorsey Are Going To Be Parents, Have ‘Bun In Oven’

Naya Rivera and her husband Ryan Dorsey married last July and have not wasted any time building a family together. The Glee star took to her social media accounts Tuesday and announced that she is pregnant with their first child. And judging from the messages, her parenting plans are all falling into place.

Rivera, 28, a prolific sharer of news about her entertainment career and personal life, remained consistent with keeping her fans abreast of the latest developments. Many were already on baby-watch, but the news of Naya’s pregnancy was received with – well – tons of glee, according to a celebrity news report by New York’s Page Six. The first baby announcement came by way of her personal Tumblr website.

“Surprise! We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family.”

Naya then took to her Twitter account and dished on her mommy-to-be status. And things couldn’t have come at a better time; Rivera revealed she is expecting only days after production came to an end on Glee‘s last episode, which will air in March.

Naya Rivera appears to be healing from her past relationship with Detroit rapper Big Sean. Their engagement suddenly ended last April, which was a shocker to many fans who took the storied journey of their romance with the couple.

However, just three months later, the actress, who appeared in Justified, wed Dorsey, ironically, on the same day, using the same wedding dress and in the same location reserved for her nuptials with Sean. Controversy ensued at the surprise announcement, but it turns out that Naya and Ryan met some five years ago and merely rekindled their love affair. Shortly thereafter, they released a joint statement. Besides, the bride had a lot of her own money tied up into the wedding.

“We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife,” said the couple in a statement. “Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for.”

Rivera and Big Sean have both moved on with in their love lives, but the bitterness appears to linger. In his song, Dark Sky, the rapper drops a verse, which many suggest is clearly a diss to his former wife-to-be. And it appears the matter is about an alleged watch theft.

“I done had a Rolex longer than I had relationships, I’m embarrassed to say that sh**. But I’ve been working on myself and that’s the most important work.”

It comes on the heels of Rivera’s tweet following their sudden breakup last year. Then, she suggested Sean had a bout of sticky fingers. BS has always maintained that he called off their wedding because he was afraid of Naya’s fits of anger and jealously.

“@bigsean Stealing Rolexes from a lady’s house now. Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something #triflin.”

With Naya Rivera pregnant with her first child, it’s unknown if she will take time off to be a mommy or continue her acclaimed acting career.
