Terrell Owens Signs Contract, Will Play For Dallas Indoor Football Team

Terrell Owens’ new Football team is located in the Dallas area but it’s not the Dallas Cowboys, that’s because he’ll be playing in the Indoor Football League for the Allen Wranglers located in Allen, Texas.

Owens announced his places to play for the IFL on his twitter account and also announced that he would be a co-owner of the team.

Some of his competitors? The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks and Colorado Ice, teams that are a slight step down from his 2010 season with the Cincinnati Bengals where he caught 72-passes before tearing his ACL during the offseason.

In October I reported about Owens holding an NFL team workout in which no coaches or personnel attended.

Speaking about its decision to bring Owens into the fold owner Jon Frankel said:

“I want to make the Allen Wranglers the No. 1 attraction in Collin County.”

It’s still not known of Owens will travel with the team or only appear in home games, the teams season begins on February 25.

Sure it’s not the NFL but the fine people of Texas love them some Football and Owens loves him some attention so this could be a match made in heaven, or perhaps one step down from heaven as it currently stands.
