Bills’ Marshawn Lynch Arrested on Gun Charge

Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested Wednesday on a gun charge.
Culver City police said Lynch was arrested after officers approached him and two other men sitting in a car in Fox Hills and found a loaded firearm. Lynch was arrested after it was determined the gun belonged to him.
Lynch was released the same night on $35,000 bail.
This is the second time in a year Lynch has been on the wrong side of the law. In June 2008, Lynch pleaded guilty to a traffic violation after striking a pedestrian then leaving the scene in Buffalo.
The big question: what was Lynch doing sitting in a car with a loaded firearm?

Seriously? How many football players are going to get busted for firearms? This is ridiculous, and it is time for the NFL to finally introduce tougher policies. This player is a star running back who I am sure has children looking up to him. This is a vicious cycle that must end.

Since when is it illegal to sit in a car with two guys? What law was broken before a search was made into the car. Yes it is illegal to have a loaded gun in a car without a permit. However in California it doesn't matter, because unless your a cop, you cant have one period in your vehicle (loaded). Was he waving the gun around? Was he acting in a threatening manner? Was he simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't live in California, i live in Alabama. I know a lot of people that carry loaded firearms in their vehicles. Some are with permits, some are not. Oh, and no, they aren't thugs, just normal everyday people that like to have the ability to protect themselves if the need were to present itself.
