Daniel Bryan To Win The 2015 WWE Royal Rumble?

Daniel Bryan returning to WWE and announcing he’s participating in the 2015 Royal Rumble match presents a huge problem for WWE if they’re planning on launching Roman Reigns as the company’s new top babyface.

As WWE fans know, earlier this year Batista was scheduled to win the 2014 Royal Rumble, and he did. The WWE fans seriously resented him for taking a spot that they thought belonged to Daniel Bryan, and the fans eventually forced WWE to put Daniel Bryan in the main-event of WrestleMania 30.

Now, up-and-coming WWE superstar Roman Reigns is scheduled to win the 2015 Royal Rumble match and go on to main event WrestleMania 31. Well, because of Bryan returning, WWE may be put in the same position they were in last year. As a matter of fact, many people thought that WWE would know this and because of that, they would hold his return off until after the Royal Rumble.

WWE fans, especially the hardcore fans that attend the Royal Rumble every year, will, without a doubt, want Daniel Bryan to be back in the WWE championship picture immediately because Bryan never actually lost his title, as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon stripped him of it back in June.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer says that the WWE better have Daniel Bryan win the Royal Rumble unless they’re planning on having a heel win, which is unlikely.

There’s a strong possibility that WWE is putting themselves back in the same position they were in last year, and that’s not good for Roman Reigns. Speaking of Reigns, there’s a chance that WWE feels that he’s not ready to be in the main event of WrestleMania, and that Daniel Bryan is their backup plan.

If Bryan wins the 2015 Royal Rumble, WWE could put the belt on Seth Rollins and have the WrestleMania 31 championship match be Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins. Of course, there’s no way that WWE would let this match be the main event — and they would put something else on last. They could even just put Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns as a non-title match on last, which has been the planned WrestleMania 31 main event since this past August.

WWE could be making a huge mistake by bringing Daniel Bryan back this soon if they’re planning to have him be in a mid-card position come WrestleMania time. But there’s a chance that WWE knows exactly what they’re doing, and Daniel Bryan could win the 2015 Royal Rumble match.
