WWE News: More Detailed Reactions Backstage To CM Punk Interview

Since the infamous Colt Cabana and CM Punk edition of Art of Wrestling, reactions are continuously coming in from wrestlers, celebrities, writers and WWE fans around the world. Everybody has his or her own differing opinion, which is why wrestling is a great sport to debate. When it comes to CM Punk, that’s when sparks fly in conversations. The former WWE champion made a splash on the Internet with his comments towards WWE.

Ryback and Road Dogg already placed their opinion on social media. Alberto Del Rio followed with his account of the day CM Punk walked out on WWE. Each man has his own take on Punk, which was insinuated from the get-go. This controversy will not end soon, especially with Punk and Cabana doing part two sometime today.

More reactions are coming out from the podcast, as SeScoops.com is reporting that more detailed reactions are starting to pop up backstage. One in particular said that CM Punk’s entire interview was simply “sour grapes.”

On the flip-side of the coin, however, a lot of people in the company were said to be unhappy with Punk complaining about the way he was booked, due to their feeling that he was booked better than almost everyone outside of a very select few talents over the past several years.

The feeling among some is that while Punk complained about having to put over part-time guys like the Rock, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, they would have loved to of been in that position.

One particular WWE Superstar, who is said to be a top guy, felt that much of the Punk interview came off as “sour grapes.”

Others in the company apparently felt that Punk came off bad complaining about being booked to work against Triple H at WrestleMania XXX, with their feeling being that it would be positioned as one of the very top matches on the show, with plenty of television time to promote it during the build-up to the show.

The report continued to say that what Punk said about his experience in WWE, others feel as well. So, it looks like Punk didn’t exaggerate at all. Of course, his story will always be a little biased. His story, while sad, might be a harsh reality that wrestling fans will have to deal with for quite some time.

CM Punk opened up a can of worms that won’t go away. His analyses on the medical fracas were serious accusations of a medical staff that needs to be proficient. One wrong move by a WWE doctor and a wrestler could end up seriously injured, or even worse. Hopefully, this was a wake-up call for the WWE and their medical team will be on high alert effective immediately.

Also, the report talked about how nobody will say his or her side. If a superstar talks about the interview and discusses their side, it would be considered “career suicide,” unless they are an untouchable superstar like John Cena or Randy Orton. The WWE shouldn’t silence their wrestlers, especially about a topic that serious. If Vince McMahon can talk on the subject, then so can the wrestlers. They might need a filter, which would certainly dissolve things.
