Taylor Swift Wings It With Victoria’s Secret Supermodels: Angels Dish Diet And Fitness [Video]

What do you get when you combine Taylor Swift, Victoria’s Secret supermodels (also known as Angels), and an executive producer who wants to make everything bigger, better, and bolder? A va-va-va-voom Victoria’s Secret fashion show that just might steal the TV ratings spotlight when it airs on Dec. 9, reported USA Today.

But despite the delay in televising the production, the supermodels, fashion followers, and creators are sharing all the secrets now that the Victoria’s Secret fashion show has actually occurred. The Dec. 2 event, from the first Angel setting a posed foot on the catwalk to Taylor tra-la-la-ing her way to the focus of attention, was carefully orchestrated, revealed Monica Mitro, an executive producer who has created 19 shows previously and hopes this one, shown below, will outdo all the others.

“We really wanted to do something bigger and better this year, and make it bigger and better. (In London), we’re upping our game because everyone is always asking us how we’re going to make it better than last year.”

The supermodels take their own share of responsibility for making it better with intense fitness and diet regimens. As the Inquisitr reported, Adriana Lima follows a Paleo diet and believes that boxing is the key to a sleek physique. She also credits those power punches for keeping her focused.

“When I do boxing, it brings me to a zen place, because you have to focus and you can not think about anything else.”

She keeps her low-carb diet of caveman cuisine simple. On the advice of Adriana’s nutritionist, she eliminates grains, sugar, and processed foods. Paleo diet guidelines also cut out legumes, beans, and dairy.

“I really try to eat as healthy as I possibly can. Vegetables, protein, knowing how to balance the right amount of carbs—that’s for me,” said Adriana.

When it comes to looking like an Angel, the Victoria’s Secret models agree that nothing substitutes for diet and fitness dedication, they told Elle. Even if they take a day off, they compensate for it the next day by increasing their workouts.

“I started eating more vegetables and fruits and changing my workout routine by going to three different things and working out on my own,” said supermodel Joan Smalls of her pre-show routine.

“I started doing Muay Thai kickboxing. And then I have my trainer, Marc Gordon, who I have had for over six years, and then I have been doing this Pilates reformer using my own body tension and weight, and I also work out at home. I work out for an hour. If I slack off the day before, I will do an hour and half and if I am feeling really good, two hours.””

Preparations for the London show began months before, with producers announcing the move below.
