WWE News: Vince McMahon And Triple H Very Happy With Ryback’s Return

Ryback returned to WWE programming a few weeks ago and hasn’t stopped impressing the fans. After leaving the WWE with a multitude of injuries and playing a heel character, Ryback came back to an uproar of cheers, which inevitably turned him face. He squashed his first opponent and then came last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

He began Raw with John Cena, as he was looking for a new man for the teammate for his matchup against Triple H and the Authority at Survivor Series. Well, Ryback was persuaded by the Authority and turned heel at the drop of a hat. He hit Cena with a Spinebuster, thus making his way to the back. During the show, every Authority member tried to sway Ryback and have him crush Cena. Well, fast-forward to the end of the show, Ryback snapped and turned on the Authority.

Ryback’s not on a team, but he isn’t a heel anymore. Nobody is a bigger fan of the “Big Guy” Ryback than I. His size and charisma can dominate the main event scene. I’m not the only fan of Ryback, as many officials are said to be extremely impressed with the Big Guy’s return to the WWE.

“Vince McMahon and Triple H are both reportedly very happy with Ryback’s return and the fan reaction to him. WWE officials still closely watch for the dreaded Goldberg chants, which actually caused Vince to sour on Ryback in the past. Now that he’s back, officials are looking to put Ryback in some more competitive matches with the idea that if he starts destroying everyone again, the Goldberg chants may catch back on.

“It was said by a source that Ryback has gone ‘out of his way’ to be a good team player and work on the attitude issues that stopped his push in the past.”

All members were previously thought to be confirmed, but now that isn’t the case. Like I noted earlier, Ryback isn’t on either team, but he sure will be come Survivor Series in a few weeks. Ryback’s screen time last week proved that WWE officials want more of the Big Guy. The Goldberg chants are going away, while at the same time, Ryback is becoming more popular organically.

If he gets mic time, which is well-deserved, then that will be even more proof that he is the real deal. All Ryback needs to do is impress officials in matches that last longer than five minutes. Anybody can be a squash master, but it takes true talent to carry matches. That was the interesting thing about Goldberg. He couldn’t wrestle a match longer than five minutes because he was just that bad. Ryback, on the other hand, is good enough, and the WWE needs to recognize that.
