Naked Man Breaks Into Home, Bites Couple In San Francisco Neighborhood

Residents of a San Francisco neighborhood are wondering why a man would break into a home and bite the couple inside. DeShon Marman was arrested and is believed to have been under the influence of drugs when he entered a home with two children and four adults inside on Sunday night.

Police say Marman, 23, caused such a ruckus that he woke up residents in the community on Brighton Avenue. At some point, he scaled a home after stripping off his clothing and proceeded to hop several rooftops before deciding on his target. After breaking a bathroom window, the naked man entered the home, and the noise stirred the occupants out of their sleep.

Inside, the birthday-suit-wearing man encountered a man and a fight ensued. At some point during the struggle, Marman allegedly bit the man while the victim was trying to close the door to prevent him from entering the main living area, to no avail. After breaking free, the naked man ran into a bedroom where the man’s wife was. There, he bit her on the leg as she tried to flee.

Police were called and arrived a short time later. They overpowered the man, who had to be removed from the property in restraints and on a gurney outside to an awaiting transport vehicle. During the naked intruder’s contact with police, he was yelling. As one neighbor recalls, Marman was saying “cops are trying to kill me!” Stephen Wong, another neighbor, recalls witnessing the nude man’s bizarre behavior.

“He was crazy. He was saying ‘cops are trying to kill me!’ Things like that.”

The identities of the victims and residents inside the property have not been released. All that is known is there is a man and woman in their ’40s, two children of middle school age and two seniors who reside at the San Francisco home.

Although paramedics said the man was severely impaired by some unknown substance, police are still investigating to determine what caused the naked man to break into the home and bite the occupants, according to a New York Daily News report. Of importance to investigators is what the man was doing and where he came from prior to stripping off his clothing.

The nude home invader faces several charges on assault with a deadly weapon (by biting), false imprisonment and burglary. More charges could be forthcoming when the investigation takes its course.
