WWE: Chris Jericho Says The WWE Isn’t Dropping The Ball With Bray Wyatt’s Family Split

While the return of Chris Jericho to the WWE is imminent, some in the WWE Universe think Vince McMahon and Triple H are dropping the ball with the way Bray Wyatt is being handled. But Jericho denies that is the case, saying simply that he sees a good future for the leader of the Wyatt Family.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, the Wyatt family split has the WWE Universe speculating what may come next. Luke Harper is receiving a push as a standalone wrestler, and it’s also reported “that WWE creative had no plans for Wyatt, but there’s been talk of turning him babyface and going in a different direction after the Luke Harper vignettes began airing last week.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the latest rumors indicate that NXT superstars The Ascension may be related to the Wyatt family split.

“Apparently there are rumors of NXT stars The Ascension being called up to WWE’s main roster to be put with Bray Wyatt. This is an unconfirmed rumor but it could have something to do with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper being ‘freed’ by Wyatt.”

Having the so-called Eater of Worlds go babyface is probably the strangest twist in the story line, which would seem a complete flip-flop of the character. After all, this is the same character that was tempting John Cena to go heel by his actions. For management to seriously consider axing one of the oddest and wonderful characters in the roster would seem like a mistake, especially considering the Soska sisters are wanting to turn the Wyatt Family into a horror movie.

The response by the WWE Universe to that suggestion was a resounding “YES!” that perhaps was only beaten by the popularity of Daniel Bryan.

This recent history had Sportskeeda asking Chris Jericho if the WWE had indeed dropped the ball with both Fandango and Bray Wyatt. But Jericho did not bite the hand that feeds him.

“I mean, put them over, beat them or both. It’s just a matter of working with new characters and new guys. WWE doesn’t drop balls; your career goes in waves, it goes in cycles. I know that more than anybody else. Sometimes you work on top, sometimes you’re not and when you’re not, it’s upto you to make your mark and get back on track again. I think that WWE has a plan and never tries to sabotage anybody on purpose. Why would they do that? It costs them money. Someone like Bray Wyatt has a huge potential, huge upside. He’s got a long way to go, so there are no worries and no rush.”

The last time that Bray Wyatt actually won a match happens to be against Chris Jericho when they went head to head in that steel cage match ages ago.

Do you agree with Chris Jericho that the WWE is doing the right thing with Bray Wyatt and the apparent Wyatt Family split?
