WWE Battleground 2014: Pay-Per-View Live Results

After a month of anticipation, it looks like everything from WWE Money in the Bank 2014 will come full-circle up the upcoming pay-per-view, WWE Battleground 2014. Just like every pay-per-view after Wrestlemania XXX, the one happening tonight at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST will only be available on the WWE Network. If you haven’t ordered the WWE Network yet, you can check out our review of it here on The Inquisitr. By now, most of you already know if you want the WWE Network or not. Apparently, there isn’t enough subscribers as Vince McMahon offered it for free.

Some of you might actually wonder what WWE Battleground really is. Where did this pay-per-view come from? Don’t worry, your questions are understandable. Believe it or not, the initial PPV for WWE Battleground was last year (2013), making this upcoming pay-per-view later tonight to only be the second one since its initiation. It should also be noted that WWE Battleground is one of the pay-per-views that caters to no specialties like the previous PPV (WWE Money in the Bank 2014‘s Money In The Bank Ladder Match) did. Ergo, all the matches, except for one, will generally be straight-forward matches (singles, tag team). The only stand-out on match types is the fatal 4-way WWE World Heavyweight Championship, since fatal 4-ways are somewhat rare too.

Anyways, just like previous pay-per-views, we here at The Inquisitr will be bringing you the results of the PPV as they become available. If you can’t watch WWE Battleground 2014 live on the WWE Network, feel free to check this article as it updates live. Also, the WWE Battleground 2014 Kick-Off begins thirty minutes prior to the official PPV.
