Pizza Hut Makes Customers Weak In The Knees For Pork Taco And Cheesy Bites Pizzas

Pizza Hut knows that people love pizza so much that they are willing to eat anything that has the word “pizza” associated with it.

That is likely why Pizza Hut decided to experiment with a new type of pizza, specifically Korean taco pizzas. If you are thinking that “Korean” and “taco” do not belong together in one sentence, then you are wrong.

In 2008, Roy Choi introduced a mix of Mexican and Asian foods and delivered them around Los Angeles in a food truck, according to Foodbeast. This marriage of dramatically different ethnic foods has been a hit, and now Pizza Hut believes that it could be the ticket to success in Korea.

Pizza Hut Korea is introducing its spicy Pork Taco Pizza, complete with salsa, taco cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, and lettuce just like you’d expect on any regular taco pizza. What you might not expect is the Korean-seasoned shredded pork that spices up the pizza and completes the merger between Korean with Mexican food. Did we mention that you can fold the pizza and eat it like a taco?

If you are in America and cannot wait for the Korean Pork Taco Pizza to hit the United States like an epidemic, then you may want to try Pizza Hut’s new Cheesy Bites Pizza for something different. This particular Pizza Hut special is set to debut July 7, according to Foodbeast.

Pizza Hut is releasing the Cheesy Bites Pizza in honor of the pizza-loving characters from The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the pizza is actually nothing new. You may remember the Cheesy Bites Pizza surrounded by bites of breading filled with cheese that could be pulled off separately from the rest of the pizza and dipped into a favorite sauce or eaten alone.

Pizza Hut introduces Cheesy Bites Pizza again to honor The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Pizza Hut offered this type of pizza to its American fans in 2012, and Huffington Post claimed that the pizza was not anything spectacular and did not “really elevate the pizza as a whole.”

In fact, the review mentioned that there was too much breading and not enough cheese, and the butter flavor on the crust tasted artificial. The flavoring was not consistent throughout cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom Cheesy Bites Pizzas.

Perhaps this time around, Pizza Hut will shake things up a little with better flavors or more cheese to appease fans of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and pizza in general.
