Channing Tatum Rides Shotgun With Danica Patrick At Pocono

Channing Tatum loves fast cars, so does his 22 Jump Street co-star and good friend Jonah Hill, as was proven when they showed up at the Pocono Raceway for Sunday’s NASCAR race.

As he hopped out of his SUV and scanned the track Tatum exclaimed,”Where’s Danica,” making his intentions loud and clear.

With that, Danica Patrick waited next to the pace car and got ready to give Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill the ride of their lives.

Before they set out on the track, Tatum asked Patrick, jokingly: ”On a scale of 1 to 10 how much are you allowed to scare us?”

But she told the guys, who were at the race as grand marshals, not to worry too much as the pace car wouldn’t be as fast as the 180 mph reached in the qualifier for the race.

Tatum continued joking with his driver, saying: ”Let’s just break the car, it would be a good story,” to which Patrick replied, ”If we wore helmets, I’d feel a lot more safe. If I crash with you guys in it and something happens to us, then I’ll go down as the worst driver ever.”

While Tatum rode shotgun, Hill sat in the back and Patrick pushed the 2014 Chevrolet SS to a heart-stopping 140 mph over at least a couple of laps.

Continuing with the jokes, Channing Tatum mocked his friend: ”My left ear is ringing from Jonah screaming in the backseat,” he said.

There was no shortage of Tatum fans at the race who lined up and screamed his name when it was done.

Tatum snapped some pictures on his phone and Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted a selfie with the boys on Twitter.

Patrick finished off the proceedings, keeping with the jokey vibe: ”I always feel bad knowing they used to say, ‘Gentleman, start your engines,’ and now I’m around and they change the words sometimes,” she said.
