gScreen Spacebook Now Available For Pre-Order, Two Years After Being Announced

gScreen Spacebook

Two years ago gScreen began showing off the Spacebook, a laptop that features two full 17.3-inch monitors with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution on each screen and now the notebook is finally up for pre-order.

The devices aren’t cheap, starting at $2,395 for an Intel Core i5-560M process, 4GB RAM and a GeForce GTS 250M GPU alongside 1GB of VRAM.

For power users looking for something a bit more robust an additional $400 will get you the Intel Core i7-740M CPU and 8GB memory with the same GPU and 1GB of VRAM.

Outside of the dual display the notebooks operate like any standard run-of-the-mill Laptop currently available on the market.

Are you willing to pay the high premium for a second display?

  1. ridiculous

  2. What part? The price? The dual-displays? or both :) I actually have a few buddies who are environmental field agents who have pre-ordered them, for the regular use though I don't think it's needed. I'm mostly afraid of the power draw two displays on even a 9 cell battery would use.
