Update: Just since this afternoon, the results have changed and Creed has vanished. Hey, it was good while it lasted.

Ooh, that is a tricky decision. I'd cast my vote for Creed, personally, but I could definitely see it being a close call…
It's an interesting point on the SEO perspective, too. I wonder if just the number of sites using the two phrases together would be enough to cause that to happen, or if it could have been an intentionally planted inside joke.
One observation: If you search for “creed” +”worst band in the world” -google (to eliminate the stories talking about the Google results themselves), there are a solid 350+ results.

Story is now updated with the fact that Creed vanished from those results just since this afternoon. Makes me question whether it could have been legitimate search-related — if it were, I doubt they'd change it like that.

As far as their music is concerned Nickleback and Creed suck just about as much as each other. Add to the fact that Creed is jam packed with Christian overtones and you have yourself a winner for “Worst band in the World”

i searched worst band ever 10 seconds ago and Creed came up.
i guess google still hates creed
