Denver Broncos Stabbing Leaves Man In Critical Condition

A Denver Broncos stabbing incident occurred on Thursday night after their 27-20 loss to the San Diego Chargers, leaving one man in critical condition. Police say the attack occurred after a fight broke out in parking lot F outside of Sports Authority Field, home of the Denver Broncos.

This is the second time this season that a violent altercation occurred during a Denver Broncos game. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, on December 1 there was homicide outside of Arrowhead Stadium during a matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs.

DPD spokesman Steve Warneke told the media that three men were stabbed, and a fourth person was involved but fled the scene. Later, it was reported that police had several people in custody and were no longer looking for suspects. One of the men was in still in critical condition at the end of the night.

The Denver Broncos stabbing took place sometime between 9 pm and 10 pm. It was called in at 9:55 pm, with police arriving on the scene shortly thereafter. Warneke and other eyewitnesses described the parking lot and surrounding areas as “very chaotic.” As of Thursday night, police were still unclear about what caused the fight.

Denver Broncos officials were not able to comment on the stabbing. One of the concerns this most recent incident raises is the safety of fans following games. Early reports are linking this stabbing to gang related activity. Denver Broncos and Sports Authority Field management will most certainly be taking a look at how to increase their security.

There were enough bystanders and eyewitnesses that police were able to bring some of the bystanders to the police station for questioning and help in the investigation.
