Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez May Record Duet Together

Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez may eventually be working together.

The couple, who revealed their relationship at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party in February (they have been dating since November 2010) have been keeping a low profile, a smart move considering the death threats Gomez (or any Bieber girl) receives from Bieber fans who want their chance with the teen heartthrob.

Speaking to E! Online Gomez said of the possible duet:

“I don’t know…You know, with my friends, I always make sure that I try to keep like family and business separate because it doesn’t really go well sometimes… I don’t know about that. We’ll see.”

Gomez goes on to add that she is in fact serious about her musical career at the moment:

“Ultimately I’d like to slow everything down and just do acting for when I’m older. But right now I have a passion for music. I’m young and I love travelling and I’m kind of embracing all that.”

Okay not the most concrete answer, but I’ll take “We’ll see” over “No way” as a definite possibility. Besides, what better way is there to really launch your music career at this moment than to work with the Biebs.
